Two thoughts.

1. iPad Pro = death to laptops.
They mentioned how the new hardware in the Pro was x times faster than a ‘desktop’ and for the bulk of people who use computers for internet, email and not much else, why would they need a laptop or desktop machine any more? iPad is easy to use for those people… (probably means the current (new) MacBook will eventually be the only model, with the MacBook Air disappearing (the MacBook is as light) and the MacBook Pro not required (in time the specs of the MacBook will be good enough). Also, experts reckon the A10 chip, when it launches, will be more powerful than the comparable Intel…

2. Apple Watch.
I’ve not seen ANY blogger mention this. But in the demo of watchOS2 the activity circles are in full colour. So whilst not a custom face, perhaps it’s bringing more choices for the complications? A small detail but would make a hell of a visual difference if it’s true.

3. (OK I lied) Apple TV
Not for me. I currently use Apple TV for, exclusively, Netflix. I don’t buy much from iTunes Store, and have never fired up my TV to listen to Music (I have an Airport Express + good speakers for that), the casual ‘app’ gaming might be interesting but my iPhone/iPad is right there next to me so … why? If the integrations get to the point I could drop Sky/Virgin (sport being the big obstacle) then yes, I could see me switching, but no real incentive yet.

P.S. iOS 9 is full of nice little touches! 🙂
